ABOUT CHEF RENA

Baked with love,

rooted in home.

From towering celebration cakes to everyday comfort bakes —
made from scratch and meant to be shared.

It started the way the best things do — in a warm kitchen beside her mother. From the time she was small, Rena was learning the fundamentals: how to measure properly, how to follow a recipe, and how to feel at home among mixing bowls and wooden spoons. Thanksgiving was always her favorite holiday, and by the time she was ten years old, she was running the whole meal herself — with minimal assistance, thank you very much.

But baking was her real love.

There was a cookbook in her mother’s kitchen that she read like a novel, cover to cover, over and over again. She would beg to make something — anything — and eventually her mother gave the answer that changed everything:

“If we have the ingredients, go ahead.”

So she did.

And for the things the pantry didn’t have, Rena figured it out. She learned substitutions through trial and error, though the error part rarely showed up. That instinct — the confidence to trust herself and just try — never left.

“Nobody told me this could be a career. But the kitchen was always where I came back to, no matter what life looked like.”

Through every season of life, the kitchen remained the constant. The place that made sense. The place where she could create something tangible, comforting, and real.

When she finally decided to fully pursue the thing she had always known deep down, Rena went all in. She attended The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York — one of the most respected culinary schools in the world — and graduated at the top of her class.

Today, Chef Rena creates custom cakes, baked goods, and heartfelt food experiences rooted in comfort, creativity, and connection. Whether it’s a towering celebration cake, a box of pastries for a gathering, or cookies made “just because,” every order is made with intention, care, and a little bit of soul.

As a mother, Rena knows firsthand that food is more than something you eat. It’s how people celebrate, comfort each other, reconnect, and create memories that last long after the plates are cleared.

Chef Rena is built on that belief: that good food makes people feel cared for.

At her core, Rena has always been the same things — a chef, a creator, a neighbor, and someone who believes the best moments in life happen around the table.

So whether you’re celebrating something big or simply craving something made with heart, welcome to the kitchen. There’s always room at the table.
